The Pink Ladies had a small, brief reunion this weekend when Olivia Newton-John was joined onstage by her "Grease" co-star Didi Conn at a concert in Las Vegas.
Newton-John and Conn, who starred in the hit 1978 musical, sang and danced together again Saturday at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino, where Newton-John is holding her "Summer Nights" residency, a nod to one of the most famous songs from the flick. The pair slipped right back into character for the number, with Newton-John sporting Sandy's blonde locks and all-black leather ensemble, and Conn donning a Pink Ladies jacket like her onscreen alter ego, Frenchy.
While we would have loved if fellow Pink Ladies Rizzo (Stockard Channing), Jan (Jamie Donnelly), and Marty Maraschino (Dinah Manoff) could have joined the gals, it's nice to know that Sandy and Frenchy are still BFF.
Check out the photo above, and just try to keep the songs from "Grease" out of your heard for the rest of the afternoon.

Miller and Ed Skrein Posted January 7th, 2015 by Jenni Miller Marvel's movie about the weirdo anti-hero known as Deadpool has been doing the limbo for quite some time. Now that Ryan Reynolds is officially attached (finally!), things are coming together in a most promising way. They've even begun casting!
T.J. Miller and Ed Skrein are in "early talks" for unknown roles in "Deadpool," although it's thought that Skrein is in line for a bad guy role and Miller for something on the lighter side. That makes sense given Miller's previous roles on HBO's "Silicon Valley," and in movies like "Big Hero 6," "How to Train Your Dragon" and its sequel, as well as "She's Out of My League." Skrein is probably most well known for his role as Daario Naharis on "Game of Thrones," a role he left to star in an upcoming "Transporter" movie - a move that frankly boggles the mind, because tons of "GoT" actors manage to juggle movies, plays, and other projects when winter isn't coming, but hey, maybe he's allergic to dragons.
"Deadpool," which will be directed by Tim Miller, will hit theaters February 12, 2016.

Fan site Making Star Wars reports that sources close to the "Star Wars: Force Awakens" production at London's Pinewood Studios have dropped some details about the first planned "Wars" spin-off, and it's some decent scoop. According to the site's sources, Han Solo is set to take center stage for the flick, and its filming will directly overlap with production on "Episode VIII," which is also set to shoot at Pinewood.
Whether or not the spin-off and "Episode VIII" will share any of the same plot remains to be seen, though if they're shooting somewhat at the same time, it would stand to reason that some events from the spin-off could be referenced in "Episode VIII" (or vice versa).
Making Star Wars's sources also said that Paul was a name that was attracting interest from the production, though there's no indication that he would be playing Solo himself.
Whether or not any of these rumors pan out remains to be seen. The "Star Wars" rumor mill loves to whip itself into a frenzy before anything official is announced, and this may be just another unconfirmed detail that never comes to fruition. We'll wait and see if Disney or Lucasfilm has anything to say about this before we get too excited.

You'll remember that yesterday's releases were both "ant-sized" and human-sized, but both of them only gave us a nibble. This one, though - this gives us a good look at Paul Rudd the superhero!
It feels like just yesterday was stealing our hearts in "Clueless" and slapping da bass in "I Love You, Man," and now he's all grown up. He's even a dad, as you can see in this clip. As Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) intones, "It's not about saving our world. It's about saving theirs. Scott, I need you... to be the Ant-Man!" So, check out Rudd donning the cool-looking suit, and then riding some sort of insect - a fly? An ant? Whatever, it looks cool.
"Ant-Man" flies into theaters July 17. Bring it on! Get it? Because Peyton Reed directed "Bring It On." Anyway, check out the trailer.

2015 is going to be huge, both in the sense that there are a ton of movies coming out and the fact that most of the movies coming out are explosive studio tent poles that cost hundreds of millions of dollars and come loaded with a 777's worth of big time movie stars. Just look at our list of movies -- it's nearly doubled from last year, and crammed with superheroes, sentient robots, rampaging dinosaurs, and everything in between.
You've probably seen all the '90s movies, like "Pulp Fiction," "Clueless" and "Wayne's World" that Netflix has to offer, but there are also plenty of lesser-known gems available to stream. Sit down and enjoy these indies, first films by famous directors and some other great '90s movies you might have missed.
1. "Big Night" (1996) R A great movie (co-directed by stars Stanley Tucci and Campbell Scott) about two Italian brothers in 1950s running an unsuccessful restaurant who go all out when a celebrity's visit promises to save their business.
2. "Boys Don't Cry" (1999) R Hilary Swank won her first Best Actress Oscar for her searing portrayal of a woman who lives life as a man, until her secret is found out by her redneck friends.
3. "Clueless" (1995) PG-13 How many times have you seen Alicia Silverstone make over her friends and try to play matchmaker? Not enough!
4. "Croupier" (1998) NR The movie that introduced a lot people to Clive Owen: He plays a casino dealer who's recruited for a shady scheme in this Brit drama.
5. "Devil in a Blue Dress" (1995) R A terrific period mystery (based on the Walter Mosley novel) starring Denzel Washington as detective Easy Rawlins, with Don Cheadle as his hotheaded friend who aids in his investigation of an enigmatic woman (Jennifer Beals).
6. "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" (1998) PG-13 With so many Cinderella reboots happening, it's a great time to revisit this version with Drew Barrymore as the independent heroine who stands up to her evil stepmother, Anjelica Huston
7. "Fallen Angels" (1995) NR A good introduction to filmmaker Wong Kar-Wai: It's also his best-reviewed film. Set in Hong Kong, it features a series of vignettes, one involving a hit man.
8. "Fargo" (1996) R Frances McDormand won a Best Actress Oscar for her indelible role as pregnant cop Marge Gunderson, who is on the trail of bizarre crime duo Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare. You can also stream the Coen Bros. 1991 film "Barton Fink."
9. "Glengarry Glen Ross" (1992) R The ultimate, ridiculously quotable David Mamet film features Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Kevin Spacey, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris, and Alec Baldwin as cutthroat real estate salesmen.
10. "The Grifters" (1990) R A trio of con artists -- Anjelica Huston, John Cusack, and Annette Bening -- tangle in a web of greed, lust and, ultimately, murder in this Stephen Frears adaptation of a Jim Thompson pulp novel.
11. "Heavenly Creatures" (1994) R Kate Winslet's first lead role is as a teen who forms a dangerously intense relationship with a classmate (Melanie Lynskey) that leads to murder in Peter Jackson's wildly visual film that blends romance, murder and bizarre fantasy.
12. "The Hunt for Red October" (1990) PG The first (and best?) Jack Ryan film stars Alec Baldwin as the super agent, who somehow knows every move a rogue Soviet submarine captain (Sean Connery) is going to make.
13. "The Krays" (1990) R Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp and Martin Kemp star as the murderous real-life British gangster brothers in this stylish crime drama.
14. "Passion Fish" (1992) R Mary McDonnell (who was Oscar-nominated for the part) stars in John Sayles's film as a New York soap opera actress left paralyzed by a car accident. She slowly bonds with her nurse (Alfre Woodard).
15. "Pi" (1998) R Darren Aronofsky's mind-bending feature film debut, about an obsessed number theorist, is still one of his best.
16. "Pulp Fiction" (1994) R Probably our favorite Quentin Tarantino film: The dancing, the hypodermic, the gold watch, the samurai sword, the wallet, that soundtrack... what's not to love?
17. "Reservoir Dogs" (1992) R With his first film -- about a heist gone very, very wrong -- Tarantino boldly announced he was a force to be reckoned with.
18. "Searching for Bobby Fischer" (1993) PG Based on a true story of a young chess prodigy, one who comes under the wing of a ruthless instructor (Ben Kingsley) who schools him in the "Bobby Fischer" strategy.
19. "Sense and Sensibility" (1995) PG Emma Thompson love stammering, shy Hugh Grant, Kate Winslet loves reckless Greg Wise and Alan Rickman loves Kate Winslet in one of the best-ever Jane Austen adaptations.
20. "Shakespeare in Love" (1998) R Love conquers all, even war, as was the case when this period romance upset "Saving Private Ryan" to win Best Picture at the Oscars.
21. "Shall We Dance?" (1996) PG A very funny film in which a married Japanese businessman decides to secretly take dancing lessons. (Skip the U.S. remake, which starred Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere.)
22. "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991) R This bone-chilling thriller rightly earned Oscars for Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter and Jodie Foster as FBI trainee Clarice Starling.
23. "Slacker" (1991) Richard Linklater's second film is a sprawling, talky ramble across his hometown of Austin, Texas, like overhearing random conversations at your local coffee house or bar.
24. "Smoke" (1995) R Co-directed by Wayne Wang and novelist Paul Auster (who also write the screenplay), this film follows multiple characters who hang out at a tobacco shop in Brooklyn. Among the cast: William Hurt, Harvey Keitel, Harold Perrineau, Forest Whitaker, Ashley Judd and Giancarlo Esposito.
25. "The Snapper" (1993) R An unplanned pregnancy throws an Irish working class family into chaos in this Stephen Frears comedy drama starring Colm Meaney.
26. "Strictly Ballroom" (1992) PG Baz Luhrmann's first film in the "Red Carpet Trilogy" takes place in the world of ballroom dancing, where one dancer wants to (gasp!) introduce New Steps!
27. "Tarzan" (1999) G Tarzan meets Jane in this pleasing Disney entry with Oscar-winning songs by Phil Collins.
28. "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991) R Sure, it's always on TV but if you want to watch Terminator vs. Terminator and Linda Hamilton being a badass with no commercials, dial this up on Netflix.
29. "Trainspotting" (1996) R Danny Boyle's hyper-kinetic movie about a bunch of Scottish heroin addicts (including a never-better Ewan McGregor and Jonny Lee Miller) remains one of his best films.
30. "Wayne's World" (1992) PG-13 "Excellent."
31. "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" (1993) PG-13 Johnny Depp takes care of his brother (Oscar-nominated Leonardo DiCaprio) and romances Juliette Lewis and Mary Steenburgen in this '90s favorite.

Actors Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, and Cecep Arif Rahman will put their fighting skills on display in director J.J. Abrams's new installment in the "Star Wars" franchise, though it's unclear in what capacity. Twitch, which first reported the trio's casting, noted that there was no indication whether Uwais, Ruhian, and Rahman would be playing good or evil characters.
According to TheWrap, at least one of the actors is slated to die onscreen. The site also reports that an additional, unnamed actor from the "Raid" stunt team participated in the "Force Awakens" shoot, but that person's role (and identity) is also being kept under wraps.
We're looking forward to seeing how these martial artists factor into a galaxy far, far away. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens on December 18.

"Big Eyes" is Tim Burton's new real life ensemble drama based on the story of Margaret Keane (Amy Adams), an American artist who popularized a series of paintings and prints depicting doe-eyed waifs. The prints were wildly popular but misleading, since Margaret's husband Walter (Christoph Waltz) took credit for the work himself. In the movie, Krysten Ritter plays DeeAnn, a friend of Margaret's who shows her the ways of San Francisco and is the first to express doubts about her relationship with Walter.
In our exclusive clip from the movie, you can see DeeAnn escorting Margaret around '60s San Francisco while Margaret looks on, naively soaking it all in. It's a cute little scene and gives you a taste of the flavor and mood of Burton's "Big Eyes."

Moviefone: How did you become a part of this project?
Krysten Ritter: Honestly, the good old-fashioned way -- I got the script from my agent and I went on the audition and read in front of a casting agent and got the job.
Had you always wanted to be in a Tim Burton movie?
I had always wanted to be in a Tim Burton movie, and it only took me ten years.
You look like a Tim Burton character!
Yes -- how did it take ten years? I was such a fan, I was dying to work with him. If you had asked me back in 2004, I would have told you how much I wanted to be in a Tim Burton movie and every year thereafter.
Was the experience everything you had hoped it would be?
Oh yeah -- and more! Because the first day I was super nervous to meet him, as you would be with someone that you idolize. So I was on my best behavior and standing up straight and nervous. But he was so warm and encouraging and nurturing and so accessible and such a great director. It blew my mind. On the last day he said, "I really liked working with you, I hope we can do it again." I was like, "Did someone hear that?!"
It's going to be Johnny Depp, Michael Keaton, and you.
Let's hope.
Was your character in "Big Eyes" based on a certain character or was it an amalgam?
Both. So Margaret had one friend that Walter ran off. So that is there but the writers created DeeAnn to get everybody up to speed. They told me she's part fiction, part nonfiction.
Did you do any additional research?
I did some Googling and looked at the art, but the script is really informative.
What do you think of their art?
I have the one from the poster, I was given it as a gift from the movie. So it's on my fireplace, but as a film memento. If I wasn't given one as part of a movie, I probably wouldn't have it up.
Do you remember the first time you had seen these?
When I saw them, I remembered like, "Oh yeah, I've seen these before." But I didn't really know who Margaret Keane was and I certainly didn't know her story and that her husband was taking credit for her work.
What was it like working with Amy?
Well, Amy, she's such a phenomenal actress and somebody that I always watched. I remember seeing her in "Junebug" and thinking, "Who the f*ck was that?!" So working with her was awesome and just watching her and observing her and seeing what she did between takes was fun.
Another movie you did earlier this year was "Veronica Mars."
Oh yes, "Veronica Mars"!
What was it like coming back to that character?
Never, in a million years, did I think that that was a possibility. Never in a million years. So when Rob Thomas emailed me when it was still a germ idea, asking me if I would be interested, I said, "Huh?! Okay!" I didn't even need to read the script. I was so down. I was like, "I'm there -- what do you want me to do?"
Were you moved by the fact that the fans paid for it and then it had this great response?
I thought it was so cool. Doing something that was bought and paid for by the fans because they want it... It's a totally special thing that I've never been a part of before. Nobody has.
Is there anything else that you've done that you'd like to see resurrected? A "Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23" movie?
Oh, I would totally do a "Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23" movie, in five seconds. For sure. I'd love to see where Chloe is two years later.
I know we can't talk much about it, but I wanted to congratulate you on your big job on "AKA Jessica Jones."
My big job!
Now you're part of this whole thing.
I'm very excited about it.
What appealed to you about "Jessica Jones"? Was it the challenge of it? Was it being part of this whole universe?
The big draw -- all of the above. I would love to be on Netflix, they're doing the coolest shows, I'd love to be a part of the Marvel Universe because they're amazing and they know what they're doing, and to be portraying Jessica Jones with a female showrunner... I don't think I could have designed a cooler f*cking opportunity. The comics are so dope. I feel like I'm just devouring them. I'm very excited and it's going to be f*cking badass.
Even the most casual Marvel fan knows to keep their eyes peeled for a Stan Lee cameo in every movie; it's never if he'll show up, just how or when.
As it turns out, James Gunn's initial plan for Stan Lee's cameo in "Guardians of the Galaxy" was even quirkier than the one he posted a pic of a few months ago. (That one, which you can see below, shows Lee as one of the Collector's intergalactic prizes, but it was nixed for creative reasons.) On Jeff Goldsmith's podcast "The Q&A," Gunn revealed that another idea he had for Lee's cameo was to straight up murder the Marvel mogul when the Collector's museum blows up at the end.
Gunn told Goldsmith, "And I said, 'Wouldn't it be great if Stan Lee's - these are the kind of ideas that I would come up with and Marvel would say, 'I think that's super, James Gunn' - but Stan Lee's head is rolling into frame.' And anyway, so we didn't do that."
Instead, the post-credits teaser revealed a much weirder artifact lurking in the rubble of the Collector's museum. Haven't seen "GoTG" yet? What are you waiting for, a formal invitation from your very own dancing baby Groot?
#gotgpicoftheday At a panel on Sunday at Dragoncon, I talked about a deleted @realstanlee cameo in Guardians, and promised the folks there I'd post a photo on Instagram - so here it is! As you can see, this is not Stan, but a double. In the original cut of the film, when the Guardians enter the Collector's museum, Rocket looks over and sees Cosmo the dog in one display case, Quill looks over into another display case and is surprised by a tentacle slapping against the glass, and Groot looks over and sees, in another display case, Stan Lee. In one take, Stan Lee just slowly turns up his finger, flipping off Groot. We shot this footage with a Stan Lee double because Stan wasn't able to come to the UK at the time. The plan was to shoot Stan in the same lighting when I was back in LA, and we'd digitally replace the double's head with Stan's actual head (not quite as difficult as it sounds). Although I thought the cameo was funny, I thought the flipping off joke was too similar to the moment earlier in the film where Quill flips off the Nova Corps, so I excised that part of it immediately. A couple of the guys at Marvel thought Stan Lee in a case was too broad of a joke in general, and that it took the audience out of the movie. I argued about it for a bit, but we ended up not keeping it in the film. In a pretty typical case of Internet-journalism-telephone, articles online yesterday said that Disney forbade the scene because of standards . However, that's incorrect - no one at Disney ever even saw the scene, and it was cut solely for creative reasons. #gotg #guardiansofthegalaxyA photo posted by James Gunn (@jamesgunn) on Sep 9, 2014 at 9:01am PDT
Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are engaged, according to a report from E! News.
The site writes that it's confirmed that the "Modern Family" actress and "Magic Mike" and "True Blood" actor are set to tie the knot, following a Christmas engagement. The pair started dating in July.
"I've never seen two people so truly in love," a source told E! of the couple. "The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It's incredible."
Vergara was previously engaged to on-again, off-again flame Nick Loeb, but they called it quits for good in May. The 42-year-old starlet and 38-year-old Manganiello have been inseparable since they started dating, stepping out frequently together over the past few months, according to E!.
Among the many woes Sony weathered following a crippling hacking attack was that several of its high-profile films popped up on pirating sites in recent weeks. But films are pirated all year long, and there were plenty of other big-name movies that were downloaded illegally in 2014.
Excipio, a firm that tracks online piracy activity, released a report detailing the top 20 most pirated movies of 2014, and the list is led by two very different titles: "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "Frozen." The former film just barely edged out the latter, notching a little over 30 million downloads, while the latter totaled just under the 30 million mark.
According to Excipio, the data was collected between January 1 and December 23, 2014. The company said it could not account for different downloads of movies of the same title, with films such as the recent "RoboCop" reboot and Dwayne Johnson's "Hercules" flick combining with other earlier movies with the same moniker to make the list.
Check out Excipio's full top 20 below. Those big numbers probably explain a lot about why this year's total North American box office haul was down 5 percent from 2013.
1. "The Wolf of Wall Street": 30.035 million (Paramount, Dec. 25, 2013) 2. "Frozen": 29.919 million (Disney, Nov. 27, 2013) 3. The National Society of Film Critics has always been an offbeat bunch, awarding prizes to more obscure films than flashier organizations like the Academy or the Hollywood Foreign Press. This year's crop of awards were no different, with the organization giving its top honor to an obscure indie film that most mainstream moviegoers probably never heard of.
"Goodbye to Language," an offbeat, 3-D movie from filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard, was awarded Best Picture, beating out awards season favorite "Boyhood" by one vote. (Unlike most other organizations, the National Society of Film Critics releases its voting totals alongside its list of winners.)
Other winners selected by the society include Timothy Spall ("Mr. Turner") for Best Actor, Marion Cotillard ("The Immigrant" and "Two Days, One Night") for Best Actress, and Richard Linklater ("Boyhood") for Best Director. A partial list of winners, along with their vote tallies, is below; the full list is available here.

The first back-to-back Oscar winner, Luise Rainer, died yesterday in her London home at the age of 104. Rainer's daughter, Francesca Knittel-Bowyer, confirmed the news to multiple outlets.
The German-born actress won consecutive Academy Awards for "The Great Ziegfeld" in 1936 and "The Good Earth" in 1937. But while Rainer achieved great success shortly after arriving in Hollywood, she never felt comfortable in the spotlight.
She had to be ordered by MGM boss Louis B. Mayer to attend the Academy Awards ceremony to accept her "Good Earth" trophy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And she once said of winning back-to-back Oscars: "Nothing worse could have happened to me."
Rainer was unhappy with the films that Mayer and MGM wanted her to do after her record wins. "I was a machine, practically - a tool in a big, big factory, and I could not do anything," she told The AP in 1999. "And so I left. I just went away. I fled. Yes, I fled."
The actress broke her contract with the studio and made her last major film, "Hostages," in 1943. After that, she made occasional appearances in television and film after moving to London with second husband Robert Knittel. They had one daughter together, Knittel-Bowyer.
"Though fragile as a hummingbird she was strong as an ocean storm," Bowyer wrote of her mother in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. "She left with grace and peace after battling pneumonia. She leaves her indelible print on her profession and all those who touched her."
Aside from Rainer, the only consecutive Oscar winners have been Katharine Hepburn, Jason Robards, and Tom Hanks. ]]>
Next year, Disney will release "The Jungle Book," a bold new retelling of the classic Rudyard Kipling story, directed by Jon Favreau and based on a script by Justin Marks. The all-star voice cast getting in touch with their animal side includes Bill Murray (as Baloo), Ben Kingsley (as Bagheera), Idris Elba (as Shere Khan), Scarlett Johansson (as Kaa), Lupita Nyong'o (as Raksha), Christopher Walken (as King Louie) and Giancarlo Esposito (as Akela). While plot specifics have yet to be revealed (the October 9th, 2015 release has only released a handful of behind-the-scenes stills and a cool logo), we were able to get a tantalizing new detail out of Jason Schwartzman, of all people.
We were talking to Schwartzman about his role in this month's Tim Burton movie "Big Eyes," when the conversation swayed to his performance in last year's "Saving Mr. Banks." In that film he portrayed Disney Legend Richard Sherman, who with his brother Robert, penned some of the most distinct songs in the history of Disney - not only songs for movies like the "The Jungle Book" and "Mary Poppies" but also songs for rides and attractions like it's a small world and the Carousel of Progress (both of which debuted at the 1964 World's Fair in Queens).
When asked if he kept up with Sherman, Schwartzman said that he's insanely busy - and one of the things he's working on is "The Jungle Book." When we asked specifically if he was working on Favreau's film, Schwartzman hastily said, "He's working on everything." But you heard it here first: Richard Sherman will be providing new songs to "The Jungle Book," meaning it will very much maintain its musical DNA from the original 1967 animated classic. Yessssssss.
